About Me

Welcome to my beautiful, crazy life.  I’m Suzan Hurley. I am a a 27 year bride to my high school sweetheart and a mom to two young adult kiddos and one amazing teenager.  I am a  passionate pursuer of all things beautiful and meaningful. My graduation from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology has given me insight into how much environment affects emotions and has been a great pairing with my natural gift of vision for decorating solutions in even the most mismatched, cluttered, and undefined spaces. Over 20+ years, I have grown my hobby of decorating and entertaining into a career that enables me to bless people with beautiful environments to relax, heal, learn and laugh in. Places that kids can’t wait to come home to and where friends love to gather. Spaces that serve as a backdrop for the best collections of moments and memories.

Beauty is not simply a physical attribute- it is an experience. It is imperfect and messy sometimes, but it always ultimately brings a sense of peace.  Some of its elements can be seen, others must be felt. It manifests through spirit, mind, relationships and surroundings. A beautiful life is curated through creating a fusion of balance in all of these.

I love to set the stage of a home for my clients where they can light a candle, turn on some music, and curl up on the sofa to focus on family, friends, faith or whatever fulfills and inspires them. For events and celebrations, it’s all about creating a few hours where people can disconnect from real life and be transported to a place where they enjoy their surroundings and can reconnect with each other. Each client is unique and I am always humbled when I am invited to create the backdrop where they will live out their story of their own crazy and beautiful life.
